I actually liked the 4th best There were no cameras, you had to use headphones and listen. It made the game less predictable, and that much more scarier

Funny I literally just played them all. Been on vacation so I figured I'd download and try them with all my free time I had....it's probably because all the hyped I heard but they bored me....too bad cause when I was a kid I had a fear of things like teddy bears coming to life which the game sort of fit. I should try indie games before all the hype build up. I do beleive hype ruined it for me

3rd has the best (back) story, 4th is by far the scariest.

These games seem to have suffered from the same plague as minecraft. They may not be the best, but they still do have some intelligent and inventive qualities about them. In reality, it's the over obsessive fanbase that makes fnaf seem overrated. This is really a shame because I find the serie's cryptic back story really interesting. And fnaf itself is a smart concept, it's just that it's fanbase has taken a huge hit on its reputation.
