Most Overpowered Crucible Gun?
Which gun do you guys think is the most overpowered?
Edit 1 : Hawkmoon is not in above, because only PS3 and PS4 players have the ability to use it.

1 ReplyI have to be honest. Since I was a SUROS Regime user, it's been kind of hard for me to get used to the new PvP patch. I've been trying with a variety of weapons with mixed results. I think that's because SUROS Regime was such an excellent all around weapon. My opinion on some weapons: [b]The Last Word[/b] Nothing can beat The Last Word at close range, and actually it's not that bad at medium range, you can outgun other Handcannons with ease if you know what you're doing. [b]Thorn[/b] There's nothing more annoying than Thorn's poison. And you can 2 shot a guardian if you take advantage of its poison. Pair that with an insane range with Send It... Seriously, it's the most annoying thing in the world. [b]Hawkmoon[/b] Great all around Handcannon, and it can one shot anyone if you get lucky, or two shot anyone with a little less luck... The thing is a -blam!-ing sniper rifle. [b]Red Death[/b] It's actually lethal now, but most maps are too small for it to be 100% effective. Pretty solid gun. [b]MIDA Multitool[/b] Great mobility, solid gun with a decent RoF and low impact. It's fun to use but it doesn't stand a chance against Handcannons, especially Hawkmoon and Thorn, even at its intended range. [b]SUROS Regime[/b] A monster from the past. A shadow of itself. Outgunned even by Montecarlo who appearently wasn't affected by the Auto Rifle nerf... [b]Vex Mythoclast[/b] It's not worth it, at least until the accidental nerf is patched. But I strongly believe that the most OP crucible gun ever is [b]Felwinter's Lie[/b] especially since everyone is just running with shotguns. That thing is the Ultimate Shotgun.

Please stop with all these "overpowered" post, learn and adapt you know why? Next time bungie does another PvP weapons balance patch the "OP" weapons will simply change and people will make more nerfs/buffs/op posts.

Don't think any are op.. But I will say I don't like going against thorn users!! Just cuz after I kill them it doesn't allow my RD to Regen my health

The Glitched Word needs it's Exotic perk fixed so it's not giving people bonus damage when aiming down sights. I'm not saying it's OP, but there's a known issue with it's namesake perk that applies the bonus damage even when aiming down sights (supposed to be hipfire only), leading to two shot kills from insane distances.

Felwinters Lie is pretty OP. Pocket Infinity too but nobody uses it anymore. Final Round Efrideets Spear is probably the most OP thing. None of the exotics you mentioned are OP at all.

Felwinter's. I can deal with Thorn users, ain't easy, but it's doable thanks to the mag size restrictions.
