Any advice on getting across the bridge solo on Crota's end?
It seems all the youtube video tricks have been patched. Looking for some help. Thanks community!

Titan can jump across the easiest, but i like using my hunter

All three classes can "jump" across - I'll demonstrate if u want if ur on xbone or 360 - I have both. Otherwise, I suggest doing it legit by building the bridge and stepping off plate when screen flashes red then getting back on plate, rinse and repeat until it says bridge is fully formed. Rocket swordbearer down fast, run across bridge before it says deconstructing... Once ur partway across it'll say deconstructing, watch the bridge and jump across when necessary.

A titan and warlock can jump across with the sword. Max agility and titan higher jump and any warlock jump except blink. Facing across the divide from the right totem, the rock to jump from is roughly at 11 o'clock. Steer towards the bridge and then go up the bridge whilst swinging. If your on Xbox one I could show you. Haven't tried it as a hunter but is probably doable

1 ReplyJust keep walking in and out of the plate and the bridge will form. Just make sure you have sword really close to plate

You can jump across using the sword from several locations and using several strategies. It takes a lot of practice (at least for me it did/does). Lookup some of the latest videos posted about it on youtube and see what works best for you. I do it on a totally different way than my friend for example.

I'd actually try it legit at least once - normal would be fine - but also apparently "bridge impaired" about getting across solo - I don't even need anything anymore other than some radiant materials, just like to mess around doing stuff like this sometimes. I fooled around in the abyss till I could finally solo it on all 3, may as well get the hang of the bridge, probably move on to shrieker, deathsinger, crota, etc... just to see if I can eventually do it solo

Bridge starts about 6:30 if you want to see how to do the bridge without sword dancing across. If the sword bearer doesn't come right at you, build the bridge then take him out as quick as you can with ghorn or a shotgun and grenades and run back to the bridge, will probably need some extra jumping.

Blink across with warlock and hunter

Step on the middle plate, kill thrall and when it says "Annihilator totem" step off and right back on. It helps to use tracking rockets or anything with hive disruptor it kill the sword knight. Once your across run straight up the stairs and jump on top of the rock to the right at the top of the stairs if you crouch you cant get hit by anything except the witch that comes out of the door at the bottom if the stairs. Kill mobs and pay attention for the witch and kill her as soon as you see her. Kill ogres and thats it.

6 RepliesEdited by jay p: 3/19/2015 3:29:54 PMIt's easy in warlock and titan. Max agility, jump off from the right or middle, go to outcropping on the left, double jump and up. Hunters trickier. Need to blink off the right. Keep practicing, you'll get it.

2 RepliesI sword danced across just last week on a titan, warlock, and hunter. The only patch I'm aware of is that you must cross to the other side, and some invisible walls were added to make sword dancing more difficult. Those changes are old news now, though.

Get the sword jump straight through where the bridge would be, take 2 swings forward and then turn to the right, there is a small indentation on the pillar u can stand on, jump to the other side of the pillar and make your way up

Jump from a pillar just to the right if the plate. It's like the second one. The highest one again the drop off. Jump out and left until you get over the bridge. Then swing your sword across for victory. Unless they've patched this. Then whoops.

Easiest way for me is the jump on jump off approach till its built kill the sword bearer and run like -blam!- with a good jump and your over

Soloed it on hard on both my titans this week just like every other week. Not "all" the video tricks have been patched.
