Why are Ascendant Shards rewards for Nightfall?
Is anybody else sick of doing nightfalls (3 x week for me) and getting a big pile of useless ascendant shards as rewards? I have 3 x lvl 32 titans and shards are now completely useless and have been for months now. I have over 300 shards....
I would rather have no ascendant material as rewards and just have weapons, armor, engrams, shaders, ships, sparrows and coins. Hell I would much prefer to win ammo synths then shards.
Anyone agree?

I have so many, it's a joke. Spose they will come in handy for HoW vendor gear lol. Speaking of mats, what the hell am I supposed to do with all my exotic shards? I'm not levelling all my exotics for the sake of levelling them. Commendations? It's rare I want to buy some vendor garbage, yet here I am stock piling them.
