What is the most durable Xbox 360 microphone brand?
I'm not looking for anything fancy, I just want it to be able to last a long time. I've been through five different microphones now, with the most recent one only lasting me three months. (Very frustrating since the only abuse it got was being picked up and put down and then suddenly the speaker stopped working.) Do you guys have any suggestions?

My turtle beach x12 is great. I keep mine on the ground and it gets tossed around a bit, but it hasn't broken yet. My brother even threw it on the ground when he was mad at me. I have had it for a year.

Headphones be careful with them. Tinnitus sucks to live with :/

I have a Turtle Beach set that was a bit too flimsy for my liking. The PDP set I got afterwards was kind of awkwardly shaped, but it's pretty solid compared to my TB. PDP customer service has also been pretty awesome for me so far. The afterglow series isn't bad for a non-7.1 headset.

I still have my original Xbox 360 Elite wired headset. Works fine.

I've been loving my Afterglow Prismatics. They've lasted longer than both Tritton and TB headsets we've had.

2 RepliesPersonally I've only had issues like you were describing when buying the third party stuff that isn't stereo headsets. I don't even take very good care of the mics I have. So I really don't know how you have an issue. Currently I have the Microsoft stereo headset for xbone. It's survived me stepping on it. I'm a big guy. So maybe this helps.

I've been using the Razer Carcharias's for a few months and they are doing great for me.

I have astro a50's and they have lasted me a good 3 years. Comfortable too. Turtle beaches are the most comfortable though.

4 RepliesNone man. Buy a good warranty when you buy any and put up with the pain in the ass process of taking it back every other month and being told that its from "misuse"
