Queen's Wrath?
When will there ever be another Queen's Wrath event? I mean, there has been many Iron Banners coming and going orientated around the PvP community but here I am, waiting to get Prism Dancer, Chasing Infinity and The Crown of the Sovereign all from the Queen's Wrath which has only had one debut :c

Bungie, please bring back the Queen's Wrath . I am a massive PVE player and are getting a little bored. You need to do this to keep us PVE player going until the next DLC drops or you will lose us to other games.

13 RepliesDont' expect to see QW return until either right before----or just after----House of Wolves drops. We have Iron Banner every month, because the PvP community in the game EMBRACED the event and only demanded minor tweaks. That is, asking for the level advantages to be more pronounced during the event. We haven't had a second QW because the PvE community just SHIT all over the event when it debuted. They criticized and HATED on it from top to bottom. People demanded new (free) content...and not story missions as mini-strikes with modifiers (like the weekly strikes are amped up versions of playlist strikes). People insisted that the rewards werent' good enough. Even though the kill-order missions gave out guarenteed legendary gear (at a time when getting such gear was REALLY hard to do). People complained that the vendor gear and repuation rewards weren't good enough. Even though----when you reached rank three----you could purchase high-attack rated rare weapons that were the equal of any legendary weapon . In fact I kept one of those sniper rifles, until just a couple of months ago. Because no other sniper rifle was good enough to replace it, until the I got ahold of an LDR 5001 for my third character. So Bungie pulled the event, to redesign it from scratch. ...and that's why we've been waiting so long. So keep that in mind when should the urge to complain arise when the even finally does return. Actions have consequences.

It's coming back with house of wolfs DLC. Expect it to be nurffed and restricted into shat. :)

To be honest I have no clue why it has taken 6 months to come out with the Queen's Wrath again. The thing that most people complained about at the time QW released was that Bungie took away the ability to shard gear. I was on the forums back then too and there wasn't very much talk besides that. My guess is that the real issue Bungie had is that people weren't playing QW as much as they thought people would. Though I'm sure a lot of that had to do with the fact that most people only had 1 character back then and once you got a chest piece, body armor and Supremacy you liked, there was no reason to continue playing. You basically had to do every bounty every day to get to level 3 and the only worthwhile rewards were vanity items. Also people seem to have amnesia over the fact that 1/2 of the bounties each day were crucible, where you had to use (at the time) the weakest weapons to score head shot kills before someone else snipped your kill or the target turned and OHK you with a shotgun or AR. If anything we can blame PvP for QW not coming back :-P. It will be a pretty big kick to the -ghosts- if it takes 8 months for QW to come back and all they did was swap out the bounties for more of the same go here and kill X style bounties. Also based on the leaked bounties, it seems that QW won't come out until HoW drops.

Yeah I've seen videos that suggest it's going to be permanent in the reef but like you I can't wait for the next expansion. I need it now because I don't do the iron banner at all or even crucible at that matter

The queen is probably going to become a permanent vendor like Eris when H.O.W comes out.
