Just curios? BE HONEST! Edit: Thanks for the feedback! Your honesty is much appreciated! Edit: Guys, you can't start out as a good player in crucible. You have to work your way up, learn from your mistakes. Change the way you think while you're playing. Instead of saying "Oh i'm really bad" say "I'm really bad, but i will and can improve". There are factors that determine your skill in crucible. How you move, where you move to. And how you react to a situation(And the speed of your reaction). These all come with experience. Believe in yourself! Edit: As much as you guys and i hate certain playstyles in the game. We can't call people who use it bad players. It requires less skill to use these playstyles, but it doesn't give us the right to call it "cheap". Every playstyle in the game is valid, some are more efficient, but it is not cheating. It is supported by the game's mechanics and we have to accept it as it is. We have endlessly been killed by these playstyles. But you have to think for a second, that they might simply be more powerful. And there are surely methods to counter them Please consider this, thank you. Edit: Technical difficulties are something we all experience at some point. Whether it's lag, disconnections or general connectivity issues. And there are weapons, playstyles that are better than others. I didn't want to make this as an option, because i wanted to see what mindset us guardians have to the game appart from technical things. And attempt to improve that mindset to better. That being said, you must realize that not everything in the game is set to be equal in power. Sure the Thorn and Hawkmoon (As an example), are very strong. But maybe it was meant to be that way. Intentional or not, the game is biased. It has mechanics much more powerful than other ones. Guns much stronger than others ones. And badly designed maps giving the advantage to the opposing team. But that doesn't mean that we have to hate one another for that. (It is definatly biased and sometimes we cannot do anything about it, but we don't have to blame each other) Mindset, is among the most important factors of improvement. Don't think "This guy is using an OP gun, he is a terrible player and he doesn't deserve to live", instead think of it this way "This guy is using a stronger gun than mine, i am going to challenge myself to beat him". That can boost your morale x10 more and it saves you the effort of arguing and cursing at each other. And you also improve because you now have a goal to follow. Conclusion, creating a good community will help everyone improve and become a better player. And setting a proper mindset, will form a path for improvement. Since skill isn't given, but earned. So if we set our differences aside, we will have a more healthy community that is more skilled at the game aswell. It is up to us. Spread this knowledge if you agree. Edit: All of the points mentioned above are applicable to PvE aswell. There is no such thing as any players being bad or impossible to raid (Example) with. Everyone can and will improve if given the chance, by not allowing them to partcipate with you because of their skill/power level. You thin down our community to groups of elitists and rude people. Ofcourse, given that they wish to improve and are communicating with you. If their mindset is proper, they most certainly will. You just have to allow them and Help them do so! Think of it. Edit: If you got this far, you will understand what i'm about to write. Refer to the poll. 1. Realization, humility. 2. Denial. 3. Frustration, anger. 4. Ego, pride. These are all true, for most people (Under the condition that they are honest and didn't choose randomly) Edit: Special thanks to the people who informed me on how you die in crucible! This is how it goes, you get shot by an opposing player from the enemy team. Your health goes down to 0 and you fall down. Much appreciated!
-.-
Edit: I apologize for any grammatical, punctuational or spelling mistakes. English is not my native language. Thank you!
