Are you that guy that carries your team in control by selflessly capturing objectives the entire match. Is your medal score dominated by a ridiculous number of Objectively Correct medals? Are you tired of being wrongfully called a scrub because your k/d ratio is abysmal? Then this is the post for you! Introducing the revolutionary new z/d ratio®! Simply open the legend page, find your control stats, and divide the zones captured by deaths. Finally a way to show that you're not as worthless as trash talkers assume! Example: 440/1483=.3 What's your z/d ratio? Prove your worth!
And remember, this is for posterity so be honest.

And don't vote if you're too dense to figure it out. Or just pick the first one...I'm sure you won't be too far off.
Edit 1 New rule: If you're going to vote greater than 1.0, you have to post so that we can call you out! Edit 2 There are a lot of liars here. Stop breaking my cool new metric! Edit 3 About half the people commenting either didn't understand the purpose of this post or were just ashamed of their z/d ratio and got super defensive so I've been forced to write a long, unnecessary explanation that most people will probably tldr anyway. First of all, the z/d ratio is not a measure of your aptitude and likelihood of winning control. I am well aware that a superior team can still win while only controlling one or less points. I have been on those teams. (This is mostly just because bungie made a crappy excuse for an objective-based game.) The z/d is intended to be a simple measure of your ability to efficiently capture objectives. And despite what many of you have said, there is absolutely value in that. I know that in a perfect world your team would capture exactly two objectives and hold them for the rest of the game. But honestly- how many of you have ever experienced a game where that happened- I'm guessing close to zero. In the real world (fraught with randoms) where you are typically losing and gaining control points, capping is necessary. I never said this was a substitute for a positive k/d, or that I encourage spawn swapping, or that team tactics aren't useful so can we put all of those arguments to bed? If you have a lousy z/d just own up to it or move on. End rant. And mad props to FullSpe3D for having the highest verified z/d so far- 0.84!!! If you still think he's not pulling his weight, just check out the rest of his stats!
