How am I supposed to compete in the crucible as a level 25 with no exotic weapons?
I have been grinding through this game for a month now, got myself to level 25, but cant get any legendary or exotic weapons. every time I compete in the crucible, I get my ass handed to me by a bunch of level 30+ players all with exotics. This makes me want to not play the game due to frustration. I cant level up, if I cant get kills. I cant get kills if it's not a level playing field. I know the trolls are going to boo hoo me here, but I really want to know what can I do to make it more playable?

Edited by DColton: 3/17/2015 8:28:03 PMI recently started using a Calcutta-LR2 Level 1 Sniper Rifle and I prefer it over my Praedyth's Revenge and Patience and Time. There are lots of Blue quality Hand Cannons I wish I kept for crucible but can't because I have no vault space Before I got The Last Word as my first exotic (edit: from winning in the crucible at level 24), I used a blue auto rifle and got destroyed by the pre-nerfed Vex Mythoclast. We've all been through the grind man. My honest advice: save up some strange coins and try to avoid buying Exotic Shards and armour. Save it up for an awesome exotic gun. Xur has an excellent selection of exotic primaries for a wide variety of playing styles!
