Exotic Weapon Tiers PVE
I have seen many people make lists on the forums and online. I do not completely agree with any of them.
I will be basing this list on pve rather than pvp, as I have more experience in pve with these guns that in pvp.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own all of the exotic weapons (including the last word, necrochasm, mida multitool, patience and time, gjallarhorn, super good advice, and the ps4 exclusives). For the ones that I do not own, I will be basing my rating on videos I have watched, guns I have used on friends' accounts, getting killed by the guns in pvp, and watching fireteam members using them.

EDIT 1: Moved Tier B to C, C to D, D to E, E to F, and made a new Tier B. Moved Mida Multitool, Red Death, and Bad Juju to new tier B. Moved Super Good Advice to Tier E from Tier F.
EDIT 2: Moved Hawkmoon to Tier B from Tier A.
EDIT 3: Moved Thorn to Tier C from Tier D.
EDIT 4: Moved Patience and Time to Tier C from Tier D.

1 ReplyI own all exotics except Suros and I've gotta say I've never had as much fun using invective, mida multi tool, the last word, and thunderlord so I'm putting those in my top tier just because I enjoy using them I mean ghallarhorn is awesome and is an amazing weapon but there's something about all those guns that make me love this game

4 RepliesI'm really saddened by the fact that Invective in the Tier E category, because all of those weapons are quite useless as people say. Allow me to tell you some things about the Invective. It has a max damage rate of 331 like most exotics should, and being a shotgun means that it deals massive amounts of damage when used up close. You know about the Colossus Cabal on Mars, the really big ones with a minigun and rockets... Invective can kill it in three shots. Invective also has the second fastest fire rate out of all shotguns in the game, second only to The Fourth Horseman, which is only slightly faster (Invective fire rate is 162rpm, and Fourth Horseman is 180rpm). Pretty much as far as PVE is concerned, Tier 2 enemies take about two shots, and stronger ones take three. I killed the boss in The Garden's Spire in eight seconds using only Invective. Invective is the weapon I pull out when I want to get rid of big enemies quickly, literally nothing stands a chance against it, except for Valus Ta'aurc, he will murder you probably every time you try to get close.

2 RepliesShotguns are sooo good now in PvE dude. Try using Invective to pop a swordbearer in CE. One rocket and 4 invective shots and he's down. I've taken to jumping up in the boomer tower on NM and just killing them with invective as they run to the edge. Takes 2 shots per boomer.

3 RepliesDragonsbreath and hawkmoon should be moved up. Dragonsbreath has ridiculous damage on stationary targets, AND can seal off an area, AND has 3 rockets. Hawkmoon, well, it's hawkmoon. I think it's the best gun in the game.
