Deej, hear me! RNG is fine, add a way to redistribute

Coming from both a heavy mmorpg and fps background (played UO and Wow from day 1, played quake 3 team arena on dial up), I would say the RNG is fine in raids and strikes. What's lacking is a distribution system. Take a page from any successful mmorpg, on strikes, weekly and nightfall add a need/greed system for rolling on loot. In raids, add the same as well as an option for a loot master who can one time distribute loot gained to those who need it. While we are at it, adding the above as well as a proper LFG system would take this game to the next level. LFG would only be needed for raids and nightfall, keep the weekly and strikes on matchmaking. Edit 1: Feel free to weigh in guys! This is the feedback forum, the more solid this can be made, the higher the probability it can be added. Edit 2: Keep the discussion coming guys! I know we are all frustrated, but keep it civil and remember that changes take time. Only those with enough support will get put in.

This isn't a bad idea, I just feel like the loot and classes aren't set up right to support this system. If there wasn't just one set of end game armor, and this game had the loot inventory size of WoW, then it would work perfectly, but it just wouldn't work in Destiny. Especially since our level is determined by our gear, not exp. In typical MMOs you fight a boss and he drops one set of loot, then everyone needs/greeds/passes. In Destiny, everyone gets their own drop from every boss. Using this suggested system with Destiny's RNG would end up making people need or greed on a bunch of shards and energies. While it would prevent people from getting duplicates, it would also hinder some from getting what they actually need, making the grind worse than it already is. IMO, they just need to scrap the light level system, put in 5x the amount of weapons and armor, and adapt stricter RPG roles to each class. If this was to happen, then your suggested system would be welcomed if not necessary. But with Destiny how it is, it would only make leveling up take longer, and we'd see even more people whining about the rewards they get. They do need to add a system for LFG, though. I'll never understand why they push for people to use the forums or other third-party sites to find a group, but continue to believe that an in-game system wouldn't work. Edit: I believe it was already mentioned, but a trade system put in place at each loot point would be perfect for Destiny. Friend A gets gauntlets but needs a chest. Friend B gets a chest but needs gauntlets. A trading system like this would be the best option, in my opinion.
