Boarding enemy Vehicles in Halo 2, being able to drive Wraiths, and the first Enforcer apperance were all surprises to me.
That and every damn playthrough of Bioshock, the Jump scare at the Shotgun pickup gets me every time :/

I can imagine the feeling of glee when you first figure that out. :D

Oh, the first time I drove a Wraith, I was ecstatic. Before Halo 2 (and modding CE), I'd spent so much time trying to drive one. I have no idea why I wanted to so badly.

Well, it is a Wraith. You remember seeing them in CE, right? Those were terrifying. So wanting to command the terrifying vehicle would be your second thought, after not wanting to die to it.
