Somewhere my 6-7 year tenure bungie.net profile is no longer linked.

I know i had 7 years or almost with my main account, not sure what happened to it, it was linked to my gamertag which is now LegitilVlate which had redeemed codes for everything with destiny. It's not a world-ender but hope for my online data of my characters not to corrupt my files with my account on my xb1having the shaders there but without thoes codes inputted on to this account. It's like what in the hell just happened. since the shaders and emblems and extra grimoire cards never worked until i put those codes in. I imagine people are trying to just hack, modify my profiles anyway they can or something I used to have 20 atheon completions before HARD Mode even came out on VoG Xb1. What happened to all my completed things. Anyways, figured i should definitely say something about this. I'm going to NOT put those codes in again hoping bungie site managers find a fix.

So, we've been looking into this case for you to figure out what happened, based on the information provided. You have 4 bungie.net accounts involved with this transition. Original Account (7 year tenure): UID : 119590 https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/119590 Created on 1.4.2008 Last Accessed 3.15.15 Current Public Authentications: None Second Account: UID: 10237284 https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/10237284 Created on 3.16.2015 Last Accessed 3.16.2015 Current Public Authentications: Xbox Live "LEGITIlVlATE", Facebook Account 1 [Not posting for your own privacy] Third Account : UID : 10237655 https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/10237655 Created on 3.16.15 Last Accessed 3.16.15 Current Public Authentications: Facebook Account 2 [Not posting for your own privacy] Fourth Account : https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/1/4611686018429623036#context=profile This is the only account you can see Destiny stats/tracking on it - thus is the "current" gamertag account. You have two different Facebook Accounts as authentications, 1 Xbox Live Account with a name change included (which doesn't affect the email address for your WLID - Windows Live ID to link your tag). A couple things to note what happened here: On 2.10.15 this update went live to bungie.net, thus simplifying the way accounts are linked to bungie.net (folks had more than one account etc), this makes it so you can move around authentications to bungie.net accounts without being signed into that bungie.net account and/or creating a "shell account" for the sole purpose of linking management - trust me, the system use to be a LOT more confusing, this update was well needed. This 2.10.15 updates makes it possible to "orphan" a bungie.net account - this has never existed prior. Meaning you can move all login authentications from an existing bungie.net to a completely new one, leaving there no way to sign in. It's even been updated in the Help Article: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12130
I have two Bungie.net User Profiles, how do I combine/merge my login methods together? 1. Decide on the Bungie.net User Profile that you're going to use. 2. Sign in to your preferred Bungie.net User Profile. 3. Link the authentication method used to access the other profile. You will be asked to confirm that you want to move the authentication method from the old profile. Confirm your decision. NOTE: Data from the abandoned profile will not merge with your primary profile, only your credentials are moved. You also risk leaving no authentication method at all associated with your other profile, which means you can never access it. Make sure this is what you intend to do.
There was a system before 2011 that if your bungie.net accounts was "inactive" (no logins for a full year) your account would automatically delete itself. This does not apply to your situation - just to clear that up. The bottom line 1. Accounts are not deleted, even if "orphaned". The prior policy was removed over 4 years ago. 2. Over the last week, you have managed to move your credentials between 3 different bungie.net accounts. Thus, "orphaning" your original account in the process. 3. The reason you're unable to sign into your original 2008 account, is because there are no authentication methods attached to it (and you've tried logging in/out clearing cache with all the authentications). IE - locking yourself out of your own car with no key availible. 4. What I don't know is if you have another authentication method attached to your original profile that is marked as private. The data pulled from the first part of my post is all public information. Anything that is marked "private" is unable to be seen.

And now i try to link it but Google Chrome screwed it up again and has created yet another bungie, profile. And now I randomly have someone already following me named Vipervirus12312 or something, never even seen him before. Wtf is going on! I TOOK PREcaustionary steps as well, i deleted my sign-in data, content license. Saved passwords, all kinds of shit. even went to my facebook completely cleared each APP that i'm signed in to within on there. Bungie.net is not working with my browser. Seroiusly, this is screwed!

    • If you don't use your account for a set amount of time it would auto delete old ones that aren't in use to prevent from their systems from over flowing with millions of accounts.

      • I see you now have two accounts. First off, I did a search. Is this your original account?

      • Bungie.net accounts cannot be deleted. Since your current Bungie.net account says it was made sometime in the last year, that means you are simply using a different Microsoft Account/Facebook Account/Google Account/PSN Account. Sign out and sign back in using the credentials of your original account and you'll be logged into it.
