Any fight at range takes skill, recoil control, choosing the right cover. It's not hit scan like most other games, so accounting for range is huge. I would know, I sunk 6 months playing recon only with a bolt action. Comms with friends, map placement, map knowledge (which is harder since the maps are huge).
