Matchmaking for nightfall and raids
There are so many loners out there and so many people who's moms won't let them talk to strangers on Xbox. It would be extremely helpful to all those people who can't do the raid and who can't do the nightfall. Bungie made Heroic strikes match made, and now all they need to do is make the other things match made.

2 RepliesEdited by Devilsmirk: 3/15/2015 1:18:15 AMThere's a really easy fix to this. Optional matchmaking for every activity. People that don't want to play with randoms, don't have to. People that don't care can. Wanna do something solo? Go for it. Problem solved.

No....there's a lot of people who already moaned so much that Bungie made the weekly a mandatory matchmaking package. Which infuriates a number of people who didn't want that. The simple answer is that OPTIONAL matchmaking would be fine. But let those of us who want to run the strikes solo or in two man groups do just that. Or those of us who want to one man, two man a raid do that. Mandatory matchmaking is a bad idea. It's already ruined my enjoyment of the weekly strikes because I'm spending half my time trying to work out what the hell the 3rd wheel is doing....if they're doing anything at all. Doing that to NF and Raids will make a lot of people quit them completely. Optional matchmaking was the compromise constantly being put forward by those who didn't want it but understood that others did. Mandatory will just piss a lot of people off.

It's bad enough now in weeklies with an AFKer almost every time I run one Would suck to do a raid or Nightfall, that requires more effort by all, and have an AFKer...or 2

And seeing as they made heroic mandatory they'd likely make both the raid and NF mandatory which would ruin it for me at least when I use the site I always find people ready to do it instead of people who just want too waste time I also don't want to carry anyone

I think the OPTION would be ok. But I'd personally never use it. I did 3 heroics yesterday. But went through 7 matches because of getting matched with dumbshits that i refused to carry while they were shooting at their feet
