Who's actually a good sword bearer?
E.g take crota down in 2 runs or less on normal or 3 runs or less on hard?

2 swords on normal when my timing isnt crap, and Always 3 on hard. Dont have the luxury of going invis so I play it safe off Ogre Sword as long as my teammates arnt eating paint chips off the walls.

I only know how to take him down in two swords on normal, wish I could do 1. However for hard mode I've never sword bearer because I'm too nervous and no one invites me to try and let me practice ;_;

5 RepliesIf you can't take Crota down in 2 sword goes as a 32 on Normal you're really bad. No excuse. Learn how to properly use the sword or give it to someone else. 3 sword goes in hard is average. Should be easy to pull off. If you could do hard mode in two sword goes then you're a great sword bearer.

I do 1 1/2 swords on normal. I usually do it in 3 swords on hard, but I think I might beable to do it in 2.

1 sword on normal if team can be bothered to do orbs normally 2. 2 on hard normally sometimes goes to 3 if mess up first sword run. We do 3 downs per sword. Have soloed normal twice so far 2 swords and 3 swords. All on the hunter. Trying to solo in one sword now after watching the vids this week, so far no luck. I enjoy running sword my group all have 3 chr and switch out on sword each run. 😀

I can do this with all three of my characters no prob. I find it to be the easiest with my Hunter and Warlock. Practice makes swordsman.

I dont usually take PvE seriously too oftem. I like to chill and enjoy the game. Usually normal mode, 2 swords. Hard mode 3 swords. Not the best but still enough for me and my fireteam. We never "need" to kill Crota in one sword.

1 on normal if I'm feeling ballsy, 2 if I'm playing it safe, 3 on hard just to play it safe unless group can get 3 downs.

ive only ever gotten 8 hits on crota in normal, then i die because my friends refuse to do the heavy glitch and try to take down his shields with their snipers/primaries, and they have someone else do it

With my hunter I can do it in 2 swords with only 4 kneels and my warlock and Titan I usually do it in 3 swords...

I can do 2 swords on normal flawlessly. Then on hard the bullshit storm is to strong. Ex: crota turning orange then without a warning slamming me into the ground. Ex2: crota slamming me to oblivion when I was invisible. Then after dieing once you get that douche bag who says "lets get a new sword bearer", when im the only experienced sword runner in the group...x.x
