Question for the Pulse rifle connoisseurs
The gun I mostly avoided in my early days of destiny has now become my favorite....Pulse Rifles!
I currently run with a 123 SYZYGY and love it. It has low impact but I have the stability perk so it's pretty much maxed out with almost no recoil whatsoever. Another perk for extended range when ADS so it's really versatile in mid and long range situations.
I finally got the bad juju bounty yesterday and now Xur has Red Death.
Should I get it? Does anyone else have hands on experience with both guns?

red death bad juju and super pox vlo are the 3 pulses to get i hope the HoW pulse rifles live up to the hype, TDB pulses were dissapointing to me

If you like Warlocks and have obsidian mind... yes. If you hate reloading, juggler, low level mobs, not having a flaming chicken skull on the end of your pulse rifle, etc... then also, yes.

Buy it if you have the coins. No reason to not have one of each exotic when the opportunity presents itself. I find it most useful for PVP but not much of a Crucible player to be honest. In PVE the main time you would use it is during the Crota fight. Me personally, I'd rather save the exotic slot for something else. There are plenty of ways to regen health and a Red Death is not going to help take Crota down any faster. If you don't have armor with the health infusion perk, it's helpful to switch to RD and kill a thrall for health regen.

Saving up for "three little words". Thing looks like a beast. Also check my titan, i nabbed this in pvp and been using it a bit. Not too shabby.

Yeah its pretty good. As the other guy stated, 2 bursts with headshots. Bad juju is also good but not so much from a distance I'd say. Another good one is strangers rifle. That thing is a fiend in PVP.

I just got red death and I have bad juju. I normally run oversoul edict. for me, red death will be a last resort in the hard raid if I'm out of orbs but I'm still excited about it

Yes buy it. It two bursts in crucible. And it looks awesome
