Best exotic armor for a Hunter (blade dancer) PVE mostly

Getting ready to create a hunter and wanted to know what is the best exotic armor to keep an eye out for (drops or Xur) always used a titan but always wanted to create a hunter for a Changeup. Thanks as always. Gonna be a Blade dancer set up.

  • Blade dancer Don't touch me gauntlets big help on lamps on Crotas end. Mask of the third man. Very helpful at last on Crota. Gunslinger it's all about archipilage symbiot ( absolutely spelled wrong) helmet. Great for pvp.

  • Wasting your time on blade dancer that's my first word of advice for you. My survival time significantly decreases and the perks are not as appealing as gunslinger. It just doesn't flow.. I'm rocking young ahamkara's spine as my exotic, trip mine nades last twice as long, which is perfect to plant on nooks and crannies. Or control zones. My other equipment include increase capacity of scout riffles, my Primary being Mida Multi tool, my magazine holds 27 rounds, perfect for triple kills. Also has in scope radar so you never have to watch your back. There are just so many possibilities with gunslinger. Guaranteed you'll be happier with the gameplay. My fiancé hates hunters but he finally made a class because I made it look fun, and it's now his main character...so..think about it

    • Here's the problem: Bladedancer is not that great for day to day PvE activity. Nightfalls/weekly and raids? Yeah, crucial. Stealth revives save the day, plus invisible sword bearer. But everything else? Using your super for anything other than invisibility is a really good way to get yourself killed, unless you have Hungering Blade, literally the last perk you unlock, and now you've given up invisibility. Even with hungering blade/encore, it's high risk with terrible orb production. Don't Touch Me is obviously great, but I personally only use it for the first part of the abyss. In general, you're trying to avoid getting melee'd, limiting its versatility. Mask of the Third Man is helpful for the orb health regen, but again, your super is going to get you killed, so its unique perk has limited uses. I'm a big Knucklehead Radar fan. It's class neutral, buffs strength for faster Escape Artist cool downs, and radar while ADS is still helpful in PvE. Crest of Alpha Lupi is ok. Also a huge strength boost, and faster revives. Lucky Raspberry is PvP oriented and cosmetically is ugly as sin, I don't have Radiant Dance Machines so I can't comment, and everything else is Gunslinger specific. Note, I'm only talking about exotic usefulness for PvE activity only. Obviously some of these items are extremely good in PvP.

    • If you're going to stick with the Bladedancer, Mask of the Third Man. Super lasts longer, and helps with hard Crota by regenerating health by picking up orbs.

      • most people disagree but I like adding the dance machines with Mida. add that with fleet footed and you can't be touched. the fallen's seeker rounds miss more of then they hit when you use that loadout
