I normally use Light Beyond Nemesis, but like HoPF as long as I have the higher discipline raid armor to go with it. I normally level & keep my armor based off Intellect & then discipline, I want my super to charge as fast as possible, followed by grenades. Claws of Ahamkara have been fun lately, running around smacking everything & they pretty much turn you into a tank temporarily. Voidwalker I pretty use only Obsidian Mind in PvE & the rare times im in PvP I'll use Voidfang.

Voidfang for PvP only on a sunsinger

1 Replyit's partly situational and partly sunsinger setup. Also need to know what exotics you have/are getting? There's nothing for sunsinger available this week (unless you roll a helmet engram). When in nightfalls or HM raids I use Light Beyond Nemesis because the medic perks let you revive teammates faster and be revived faster yourself. For HM raids (particularly Crota when there's no health regen) the helm regens your health upon orb pickup. Apotheosis veil has the same perk, and also regens health when activating super. I don't have this helm yet (have rolled over 12 engrams and no veil :( ) If you use fusion grenades, Starfire is great. You gain a 2nd fusion (this can't stack with the "gain an extra grenade" perk, but allows you to use another perk in that tree and still have 2 grenades). If you use solar grenades, Sunbreakers are great because they increase the duration. I just got a Deathsingers Gaze in HM Crota last night that has the "regen health when picking up orbs" perk, so once its upgraded I'll run that with sunbreakers in HM Crota HOPF I have but have never used. It reduces your cooldowns when radiance is active, making you a bit of a grenade monster. Can see this being great for PVP (which I rarely play) and certain raid areas (soloing Crota this would be helpful), but my go-tos based on what I have are Light Beyond Nemesis and Sunbreakers.

4 RepliesThe real question is,.. Would you fight 100 duck sized horses, or a horse sized duck?

Edited by DeusDominus: 3/13/2015 1:43:11 PMStarfire Protocol= Allows you to use more than one perk from the same line How ? It gives you two fusions grenades so you no longer have to equip gift of the sun. Down side= If you don't like fusion grenades this isn't really for you. Heart of praxic fire= Further increases cool down rate of ability during radiance. Whats does this mean ? You become a walking mortar/grenade launcher. Obsidian Mind= Doesn't make sense at first due to the Helmet being Void centric. Why use it ? Dat intelligence bonus dough.... Negatives ? To get the most out of this helmet you really should void. Claws Of Ahmankara=Gives you an extra chance to let your opponents talk to the hand by giving you an extra scorch melee. Negatives ? Doesn't really do much else...but look cool.

Edited by AllOutWar76: 3/13/2015 1:42:20 PMHeart of praxic fire is BiS. It basically makes your cooldowns nearly instant when you use radiance.
