Megaman is a false prophet. But he should also be praised?
Xur is selling Red Death, not Universal Remote.
EDIT: We all know Megaman was right a few times, but he is not right this time so he is forever a false prophet.

18 Replies- Megaman nailed Xur's inventory multiple times. - Bungie quietly issued a hotfix. - Xur can no longer be datamined. - Xur's inventory changed. Do people not realize how much sense this makes? Why would Bungie just allow someone to continue to datamine Xur every week and ruin the surprise? They obviously patched it out and rerolled his inventory BECAUSE Megaman was right, and would have continued to be right unless Bungie did something about it.

Once is Luck Twice is Coincidence Thrice is Confirmed That is how I see things, even more evidence is dropped on when bungie issues a hotfix that "Allows developers more tools" which just so happened to be before Xur, I have been searching as well for his posts on multiple sites, notable amounts have been buried too.

Good lord. If you people had read megamans posts correctly you would know he stated that there was a backup xur, that bungie could bring in whenever they wanted. He was right all along.

Actually not only him data mine Destiny and found out about the UR manny other did and found out the same thing. You'd be amazed by the things reddit community can do. The latest update was there fix for that issue. In actuality every one who bought Red Death should thank him because Bungie was salty about his previous prediction and they have changed it completely for this week. I'm not defending the guy but he was right every week with xûr and nightfall.

Reminding you of the little detour bungie took with their "hot fix" adding themselves the ability to edit his line up. TL;DR: He [b]wasn't[/b] random but they could [b]not[/b] control his inventory. Megaman came around and proved this and now they [b]can[/b] control it. Rendering it no longer "random"

No. Megaman proved Xür isn't random. He wasn't "right" this week because the developer caught wind of him and modifed Xür's stash. My guess is to "prove" to us Xür is RNG.

They added additional security on their end to prevent outside access, they then changed his inventory so people would have hope restored. You couldn't have been more wrong, megaman was so right they introduced an update and rerolled his inventory.

He said that the hotfix bungie put in was making hit so xur was randomly set shortly before he entered the date. So people won't be data mining him

He had bungie actually change xurs inventory. Because he had successfully data mines it 2 weeks in a row, he was tryin to do it again and was stopped by constant changing of the IP Address. Thus making it impossible to find which IP Address Xur is under when it's constantlychanging

The one which mega man previously mined had predetermined schedule of items for sale. The Xur that is currently in the tower can be altered manually, in real time by bungie. I believe megaman mentioned another Xur copy with a different scheduled list, which had gjally in his database of possible weapons, but hasn't been used for a while. Xur 1 - predetermined list A Xur 2 - predetermined list B Xur 3 - manually assigned list (currently in tower)

In all likelyhood Bungie changed the items, as they do have the capacity to do so even though they claim its RnG. They knew he was on to their methods so they changed it up last minute.
