Tight jeans? I got a question...

Why do girls wear tight jeans that are specifically made to show the contours and shape of their behinds, pretty much showing everybody what they've got there. But for some reason when a guy would glance at them it would be him objectifying them? I don't get that. I tried googling it and found this article about it. They listed "Girls love to attract attention from guys" as top reason. "Most girls like it when guys stare at them whether they admit it or not, and this is the biggest reason why most girls wear tight jeans. Skinny clothes make girls look sexier, and thus help them attract attention from guys." How contradictory isn't that then? "You perv, you looked at my butt in these jeans specifically made to shape out my butt as much as possible! (But I do like the attention, I'm not going to admit that though, you're the criminal here not me lol!11!" I'm not saying girls shouldn't be able to wear those kind of jeans, I just think they should know what they're made for and what they do. They shouldn't have a right to complain when they know the situation they put themselves in.

  • People choose their own clothes for their own reasons. What I wear at home, I may choose to go out in, or decide not to. Because when I go out, I know that people can see me and will (or won't) look at me based on their own level of interest. But someone looking at me? That doesn't harm me in any way. Do I dress so that people WILL look? To one level or another, yes AND no. But I can't control what people think, or what they do with their eyes. If someone comes up to me and feels that they have a right to engage me in conversation or comment on how I am dressed? Well, that's a matter of manners and social courtesy. If they are polite, I can be polite back. If they are a jackass, then I can be a bitch. They started the conversation, they set the tone, they took the risk and they get the outcome. Try to touch me because of how I am dressed because they think that I am "sending a message" and they know what that message is? They're going to pull back a stub or find themselves on the ground with a tight grouping of .38 inch holes in their chest.
