How many people kept the Strangers Rifle?
I'm not sure why but for some reason I felt that I should hold onto this thing.
Anyone else have this piece tucked away for no apparent reason?
Edit: Holy crap, did not expect this much love for a rifle that most probably discarded when they got their first legendary. I love reading all these posts! Sounds like this weapon is pretty nasty in the Crucible. I'll see you all on the other end soon ;)
Edit: OK so obviously we've outed this weapon as something people still use and are very much interested in.
**New question**: Do you guys think this weapon will be important to have later in Destiny's life? Be it that it could be upgraded, will it be required to obtain other things (weapons, story, quest lines) ? Great feedback so far!
Edit: Damn, over 500 responses! DeeJ make this happen, the community obviously hung onto this thing. Although it seems to be tucked away collecting dust. This gun needs it's own quest line,if it's not already in the cards. Love the feedback guys. Long live the Strangers Rifle!
Edit: You guys are awesome! Never thought this would get as much attention as it has. Over 850 responses! There is something truly special about this weapon. It shouldn't exist yet we hold it in our hands from time to time. It is real and it seems to be getting stronger. As we approach the Reef and the inevitable Fallen House of the dreaded Wolves the energy harnessed within this weapon grows brighter. Is it because it knows it's master is close... The Stranger.. Only she knows the true potential of this weapon and I'm hoping we get to ask her face to face.

I held onto it because it felt kind of wrong to dismantle it. Also it kind of shreds in PvP.

I held onto it for a while then got rid of it for vault space. You could always get it again

This is my favorite gun, it wrecks red death, and even bad juju at times. It hits hard and has good range, super accurate.

Ive just started a new account,under this name,just for this gun,ive got 3 32s under another name. Mates think im mad,but dont really have nothing else to play for,was hoping iron banner would be here this week,just doing it for pvp and something to do till may 19th.

5 RepliesI dismantled my first one and I didn't get another one after finishing the "story" on my other two characters. Has this happened to anyone else?

Deleted it. The later wanted it so finished other two characters and it didn't pop up for me. But helped a friend with his last mission months down the road on his second character and it gave it to me. Kept ever since. Just wish they would upgrade it to legendary or something.

I still carry mine on my hunter. I wear it around the tower when I'm not upgrading other primaries.

I mean, you had to beat the story mode (such as it was at the time) to get it & the Stranger was using it to fight "Enemies out there you would not believe", etc. Maybe they will let it be leveled up like the Husk Of The Pit... Still have 2 in the Vault.

Yup! If it had an exotic version I would use it more than in just the crucible
