Oracle weapons.. go or no?
Is it worth it to use Oracle disrupting weapons during the Atheon fight in vog?
Looks like several great loadouts recommended below.. less wipes on Atheon errbody

I usually take the relic when I get teleported, but when someone else takes it, I use either Corrective Measure or Zombie Apocalypse to take down oracles. I would use Super Good Advice, but I use my exotic slot for Icebreaker instead.

10 RepliesIf you want to be more than dead weight, yes. If you want to be an embarrassing 32 that can't hardly kill a single oracle go ahead and scrap them. The number of teams I've joined lately with 32 constantly succumbing to oracles is absurd. Instead of getting to run with my black hammer, I've had to keep my praetorian foil equipped to take out the oracles for the team.

Here is my loadout: Vision of Confluence - used mostly for supplicants, or oracles sometimes Black Hammer - what I dps Atheon with as long as nobody is being dumb and firing rockets and grenades Corrective Measure - A total oracle melter. You can solo Oracles with this.

No u don't need them Use any fusion and the oracle will be destroyed in 1 or 2 shoots

I run voc, bh/ pretorians foil, and thunderlord/ghorn. Just depends on my mood.

2 RepliesOn Vault of Glass I normally use the following loadout Fate Bringer/Voc IceBreaker/Murmur Corrective Measure When I'm teleported I'll shoot them with my VOC and depends which I have equipped, but I'll use my murmur or Icebreaker I switch between primary and secondary and do not waste my time reloading if all possible because as we know time is very important.

1 ReplySga is all you need for oracles, one you activate the perk that returns bullets to the mag if you miss (hitting an Oracle counts as a "miss"). Also works great on the detain bubble. Equally important to weapon is how soon you start hitting the Oracle. They increase in health the longer they are present. So if you can predict where they will appear, and hit them immediately, they will explode sooner. As an example, if you hit one with a golden gun shot right when it pops up, that will be enough, but if you wait a second or 2, you'll need 2 golden gun shots.

Edited by Bloody Str1ker: 3/12/2015 4:55:16 PMUm, yes. 331 auto rifles are trash against Oracles on hard. Shotguns and Fusion Rifles will take care of Oracles nicely. That being said, Oracle disrupter weapons are superior to taking out Oracles than any other weapon. Corrective Measure and Found Verdict are the best. Found Verdict one shots them. Icebreaker, Thunderlord and even Super Good Advice can do the job, but Oracle disrupter are still the better choice.
