No this is false, I've done runs where the nightfall goes super smooth like last week and my buddies or myself still get materials. It's not weighted, it's just RNG. Besides, last time nexus was around I carried a 28 titan through and so obviously he was dying a lot but the guy still got a helm of Saint 14

No but you're saying you're more likely to get mats the more you die and so I gave examples showing how when we didn't die, some got mats and when one guy was dying a lot he still got an exotic
