The PVP net code - it's bad

Guys, I know net code for multiplayer games is no small feat. There's a lot going on, multiple connections, etc. So many variables. But you have to do better. It's atrocious. I have probably hundreds of videos now of games made unplayable by awful networking. Players disappearing all over. Dieing by someone across the map a good 5 seconds after I walk away from that spot. I've been gaming since video gaming essentially came to be. I've seen good and bad networking. I'd think in today's world - with broadband being so much more easily attainable that connections would be better. They arent. I had better connections on Counter Strike with a 56k modem. I had a 195ping to a local server and while it wasn't as fluid as when I got cable later that same year, I had fewer crazy issues than I see here. This has to be a priority at some point, right? I know moving to dedicated servers would cost a fortune. It would also offer an incredibly stable/consistent experience. But while that's probably a long way off, can you please optimize the code you have? Can it ONLY pair me with people who have lower than a certain ping? I will wait longer to have a better experience. Having a host with a crap connection dominate a game because he's warping all over is no fun. I will wait 5min to pair up people in my region. Even 10min. Additionally - all of the "bugs" I hear and see in the raids - I bet 95% of them are from bad connection quality. So fix it in pvp and it likely fixes the raids. Help me Bungie Wan kenobi. You're my only hope.
