Hit's for 4k on crits AND zen moment increases it's stability with a higher fire rate then Fatebringer. I hate to tell you this, but you are creating a personal crutch for yourself by using Fatebringer. WoC IS the new standard and handles impact output A LOT better then Fatebringer. You aren't doing yourself any favors since WoC also has hammer forged which makes it just as powerful at range as Fatebringer. Instead of firefly? You need to hit three consecutive headshots now. This Is because we AREN'T facing swarm tactics next raid. The Hive had crystal clear class boundaries and thralls lived up to the mass pack rush. The clue of Fatebringer is Thralls and Arc Knights. That was it's purpose. With the next? Clearly 331 weapons will be needed. Therefore, cut out ANY 300 weapons. They won't be useful at all.

I'm not worried about a triple nightfall I know the word is better that's why I use but thanks for thinking I'm an idiot, I certainly would not take word into an arc burn nightfall, I always take my best weapons, also the word isn't a whole lot better than fatebringer I just choose to run around with it unless it's against crota

You are not an idiot nor did I speak in that direction. WoC, even outside the nightfalls, is the better primary to have. That's what we debated and know. It's fine you think differently but we both are about situational usefulness and right now? That simply means 331 weapons in... All 300 weapons going out...

Sorry for the late response to the thread, but I prefer my fatebringer (have had it for a week) over my word (have had it since week 5 of hard crota) and now that we can ascend the guns, they will be very good in each of their situational uses

Not really. As I already said. a 331 capped gun is only one part of the equation. Literally the Fatebringer only has a range increase which I already counter naturally in most environments. The ascendancy part is nice, but people who argue one component will never be able to beat me now. RoF is what matters more in that sense. Why? Because impact and RoF is higher on WoC. People just like the firefly effect.

Firefly is unrollable on handcannons, that's why the FB is so wanted, and paired with outlaw is now unstoppable. And as I said, I've had my word for a lot longer than FB

I currently have an ill will, HoW legendary hand cannon, with targets which explode on precision kills. Two legendary sniper rifles with it as well.

You do realize that if it drops on special items and the database pulls from the same call list it is simply a matter of getting it to work on primaries? I don't look for source information. I know how programming works since I've been doing it for years... Firefly will drop for any primary. It's probably really low opportunity to drop and I can think of quite a few current formulas to make that so.
