Could people stop asking to nerf Felwinters Lie?
I grinded my ass of to rank 5 (or whatever rank it was) to get this weapon, and reforged it several times to get my preferred skill set. Dont like being blasted to death? Stay tf away from me then. Use your radar. Heck, even kill me. Half these people don't know that a shotgun irl can have over 3x+ the range they do so you should be glad they have the range they do now. If i kill you, its 100 percent your fault for coming close to me. The funny thing is, if they spent amount the time in iron banner get this weapon, you wouldnt hesitate to kill me with it.

Edit: i will feel no pity on people when i ohk them across a room. :)

1. This isn't real life. Video game shottys are OHK weapons from very close, felwinters OHKS from way to far away. 2. Honestly I think we won't have this problem once the special ammo gets nerfed. Hopefully you won't be able to run around with only a shotgun in the future and you use it for close encounters only.

Besides with the rof and lag issues, if you miss it is essentially a death sentence. With the special ammo reductio lb, it should be about fair. Going to suck as a sniper though, but we'll see.

PvP is a Rock-paper-scissors strategy game. Just because some fools keep throwing rock over rock out there, they expect you to change your paper strategy because its not fair you never throw out scissors. If they cant figre out to change their style of play when felwinters are wrecking, its their own fault. Full disclosure - I do not have a FWL, but I have learned to play differently when the entire opposing team is running around with them.

Shotguns are shotguns, what does need to be looked at is people abusing last round does extra damage sniper rifles by emptying their clip . Nothing worse than getting 1 banged by getting shot in the toe nail

I don't mind Felwinters, but... You say people shouldn't come close, but that's BS, blink and triple jump can close any gap quickly on these maps. The problem with shotguns is a combination of: blink to close huge gaps without risk, too much special ammo and a huge range on some shotguns and lag which makes it hard to hit people while they're moving in the air.

Kids these days, just want an easy game, so they'll cry to get their way. Thank the new swag f@# Generation for that. Worst idea ever was to out up forums for console games. Oh well at least better games have come out for a while now, especially Dark Souls 2 for new Gen console. I bet you won't see many destiny players on that.

1 ReplyMine doesnt have shot package or hammer forged (I have flared magwell and grenadier on mine, which is good for me as I like the lightning grenade) and it is still a beast. It does have drawbacks, though. The firerate is nothing to write home about.

Run towards red mark on radar. Press button. Rake in kills. Try again. Chimps like you are overwhelming the crucible and it's impossible to avoid. Felwinters crutch..heavy noobie crutch ammo...super kill trading...

2 RepliesI don't have a felwinters lie... I get killed by it in crucible... It's fine... Leave it and the other guns alone (except autorifles, put them back the way they were)... People need to stop crying for nerfs because they can't figure out how to deal with a specific weapon....

Bump. I got mine this IB. It was the only reason I played it. I was hoping to get the drop since I missed out when it was sold the IB before. Played all week, earned the Chest, Legs, Emblems, Sharders, Ghelon's Demise, Silimar's Wrath, Jolder's Hammer but all I really wanted was FWL. I played like eight hours a day all week and was about to give up until at 2 am on Sunday, when I said I was about to give up, it dropped. I think I was happier to get it then I was Gjallarhorn. Because it's really good? Well, yes, of course, but that's not what made me so happy. I was happy cause I had worked my ass off for it and was rewarded for my dedication. So when people get on these forums crying nerf it pisses me off. I don't main a shotgun. I run around with my primary out until I know I'm about to get up close and personal with an enemy Guardian, which is the way you should play with a shotgun. But the last few days, sick of all the haters, I've been spamming the crap out of the thing with the biggest dam grin on my face.
