How do I Get the Thorn
Ok so I'm a die-[b][u]hard[/u][/b] hand cannon user and I've always seen people with it and talk about a Thorn bounty. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to get the Thorn/Thorn Bounty because [b][u]I LOVE HAND CANNONS!!![/u][/b]

I just got my first exotic bounty after religiously turning in bounties for two weeks. Got Hawkmoon two days before. Just started the Thorn bounty. Stuck on the crucible part because for once I have no void damage guns. Sadly it is literally random and the last two bounties I managed to scramble up offered me the exotics. Shortly after I got off my friend got it too. All I can really say is turn in all the vanguard bounties daily, plus crucible ones. I'm alright in the crucible. So don't get discouraged if you don't get it. Keep trying. I gave up and bam. Awarded my selection of bounties. Good luck! PS4- yoitztune

Just so you know... exotic bounties are random. There is no specific guaranteed way to get an exotic bounty. My friend once told me you had to turn in 9 bounties at the same time to get one. He didn't get it his first try but got it his second. I did the same got it my first try. Tried it again 4 more times and they all gave me nothing. Then a few weeks ago i handed in 2 bounties at the same time and got one.

Honestly no easy or guaranteed way. I've gotten exotic bounties from turning in a single eris bounty from the same day. Just do bounties and wait. It'll come eventually.

Edited by alldaz484: 3/10/2015 2:59:41 AMHere's something that you can try, complete all of your bounties but don't turn them in until the following day, turn them in and then pick up the ones that's available and complete them all and then turn those in, this worked for me twice, I have all of the weapons from exotic bounties and now they keep giving them to me, FYI that Thorn bounty is a pain if you don't play in the Crucible much Good Luck

The way I got it: I figured doing bounties day after day was the best way to do it; however, I hated doing those just for a chance of getting a bounty. I then got some raid gear and a few exotics. We all know that upgrading exotics can be a pain in the ass, so I figured doing the bounties would be the best way to do it. Basically what I'm try to say is do the bounties (at least 6 a day) but make sure you have extra motivation behind it, such as upgrading an exotic weapon, otherwise it will feel like you're just doing busy work. I did this for 3 days and I got 3 bounties in that period. Hope this helps.

It's random, cross your fingers while turning in bounties. It could happen when turning in 10 or it could happen while turning in one. It makes no difference, it's all random.

Got mine the other day and I'm a fairly new player. I completed the daily bounties for about a week and then received the option for 3 different exotic bounties. So basically just keep doing the daily bounties and eventually you will get an exotic bounty! Also there is a fairly annoying and lengthy quest chain in order to finally get it!
