Faction Rankup Packages
Is it just me or have faction rankup packages been getting worse?

3 RepliesI've been getting 2 item packages a lot, the commendation and ascendant mats. I've got 40ish Crucible commendations Sat unusable from doing PVE activities. Also the Cryptarch "two blues" package is painful.

I don't even bother with them anymore. The loot drops have gotten so bad I ended up re-ranking a Warlock & Titan the past few weeks for more chances at nightfalls & raids but it's pretty clear things just don't drop like they used to. I hope tomorrow things change because I just can't do another bad week and no way am I ranking up another character again. Good luck this week guardians.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that for all the time I spend grinding, a package is allowed to give me a commendation and ONE ascendant shard. Thankfully I got my first DO shader (The Hanged Man) from my rank 23 package yesterday

2 RepliesSince the DLC yes. I think it's because of the Commendations being Legendary. The RNG system takes this into account worsening the chances of getting other Legendaries.

Nope. I mean yep. They suck. Iv ranked up a few times and all i get is material. I switch to vangard. And boom I get armor/weapons. Its super annoying man. Ranking up and getting nothing for it :/.

The last couple of rank up for me have been Crucible mark and a ascend energy. Not even worth it. I have not gotten a legendary weapon in a long time.

Yeah, they're sucking. I don't even bother ranking up my Vanguard anymore.

1 ReplyOh yeah. I've been grinding patrol missions so much to level up my faction. I'm at level 22 now, leveled up 6 times in the passed 8 days and still no shader ;-(

2 RepliesI have 14 or so vanguard coms in my vault ,I have had destiny from day one have gotten all my exotics from the bounties or xur .I've gotten pulse rifle after pulse rifle before the buff when they sucked balls ,I've gotten a few decent rocket launchers or heavy MGs . I do the night falls and the weeklys on hard but week after week I get screwed I just wonder if anyone else has gotten as -blam!-ed as I have with this game oh wait I did no land beyond in a drop once what a steaming pile of shit that is

I agree. They've been bad, but counterpoint. I received a Badger CCL with explosive rounds at Vanguard 3, which really surprised me, especially when DO 3 only gave me a commendation and an energy.
