How many of you can effectively run sword?
On HARD MODE Crota's End?
This is a spinoff from my last thread concerning those who run the sword on any difficulty.
Let me know how well you guys can do it, and let's see them polls ;)
Lots of people saying the particular poll with over 30 percent is boo-boo. Remember, it's forum based already, which shortens the number of people answering, and an even smaller amount of actual efficient sword bearers who actually vote. We'll never know, but keep that in mind.

1 ReplyI run sword as a titian an im a beast at it on hard mode i got corta d9wn to half health with one sword. I also think if you run sword as a hunter your a punk cuz you have to invis an hide to beat the beast crota

I know what to do and have downed him multiple times on normal, but for whatever reason I have trouble downing him on hard.

I can do it on all of my characters, but I tend to not do it on my titan so others can get practice running the sword in case I'm not on and someone else in my group has to run it

2 RepliesOur best sword guy went down last night late into the 2nd sword. I had to run 3rd sword and get 8 hits with it. I had been running gunslinger and switched to blade dancer in the ogre room. Didn't have time to get my super up, had to go up fully visible. Got my first 4 hits in and MISSED my first blink strike attempt (???) but hit the second try and went invis. Team downed him again (a man short, remember) and got my next 4 hits in. We all died to Oversoul but crota was dead. My heart was beating like a jackhammer. What a rush.

And i barely say anything during the entire time, other than the essentials. Please everyone else that [i]can[/i] get 3-4 hits every time at least do the same! I love you if you can!

2 RepliesLot of people are lying if they say they can run it in any class on hard. Most hunters I see in LFG groups can barely do it.

I can do it with any class on normal, I have done it only with my hunter on hard. Oh! and one last sword with my titan.

On normal I have no issue at all, on hard I find it more glitchy/buggle and struggle

1 ReplySo many random groups want ONLY a Hunter and yet it seems most can run it on all classes, why do people even bother saying they want a Hunter sword bearer anymore? I run it on hunter/titan and will do it on warlock after 23 more hadronic essence. I hate when randoms tell me they don't want me to run sword on my titan!

I've only managed to kill crota once with my titan as sword bearer and when he went down I must of celebrated like my team had scored a goal. I think my fireteam thought I over did it but the sense of achievement and the rush from your first kill is immense. I really think more people should try it as it gives you a new role to learn in the game.

I've only tried it once with my hunter on normal, i'll give it a go again when i play with my friends again :)
