Hello, I am an avid crucible player. My average K/D sits at a 2.71 across 35,000 kills. I say this not to boast but to only add credibility. Destiny is a game with marvelous mechanics, yet I realize there is a challenge in balancing abilities and weapons across PVE and PVP. However, there are some changes that need to be made in PVP that would not substantially affect PVE.
Special ammo availability
"Special" weapons are used in abundance in crucible. Having such plentiful sources of special ammo proves these weapons to not feel all that "special." Special ammo availability needs to be cut to a third of what it is currently.
[UPDATE - Bungie is changing ammo drop frequency in the next update.]
Final Round Perk on High Impact Snipers
This ability for snipers to one shot, body shot opponents for a kill lessens the quality of the game in which this is used. The best way to counter this is by having both teams with Final Round. This stagnates the gameplay to yield a standoff. In short, restrict all snipers to two body shots or one headshot for a kill. Remove Final Round from snipers.
Axion Bolt
This grenade has the ability to chase you for far too long. 10 meters would suffice, yet it has the potential to pursue you for nearly 30 meters if the ability vortex mastery is selected. No other grenade has a post activation range similar to this grenade. The damage potential should decrease over time if vortex mastery is selected. This would yield a slight reduction in its effectiveness.
Hawkmoon, Thorn, The Last Word
If you are not using one of these primaries, you are at a disadvantage. These have the best TTK's compared to other primaries.
-Increase Hawkmoon's clip size by 2-3(increases bullet saturation--less likely to two shot. Benefits PVE). Remove aggressive ballistics.
-Decrease Thorn's Damage over time in PVP to prevent two headshot kill capability.
-Reduce fire rate on The Last Word. Kill time would remain quick but not be at a .4 second time to kill (for perspective, other primaries sit at a .9 second/kill).
Auto Rifles
TTK for auto rifles are now lackluster. You are at a disadvantage with this weapon type. Impact should be restored to pre 1.1.1 patch. Time to kill for all primaries should be very close to one another, dissuading a "go to weapon." Primary weapons should differ by their handling and effective range. Each primary weapon type should be situational and not as versatile as they currently are.
Supers
Players should be able to identify players that have super bars filled. A light yellow mist surrounding the character would suffice.
Incentivize Crucible
Rewards should be dependent on performance and persistence. Players who do not quit would increase their high tier loot probability by a small percentage after each successive game. Once high tier loot is received, the probability resets to zero. Performance would stack with persistence but be instanced to single games. Thus, crucible is beneficial to all players.
True Skill Matchmaking
Currently, individuals of all skill levels are tossed into a pool of players in matchmaking. This often leads to one team having more experienced players against those less familiar with PVP. These one-sided matches simply are a waste of time for both parties. The quality of the match is degraded for everyone in a game such as this. There needs to be a system in place to pair you up with players of similar skill level.

4 RepliesI too play PvP much more than PvE. I like to think I'm good at it. It took a minute to get used to. Everything you said is spot on. As soon as I get used to one patch, another hits, and renders my previous weapons useless. It should go back to the way it was when the game released.
