I think you need to tell us what your settings and gear are because a friend and I tried this last night just to see if we could do it... and we couldn't. Blink was not giving the height or distance that yours is in the video.

Mask of the Third Man would be a solid choice if you have it, as it is the best Bladedancer spec exotic out there as well as having the increased melee attack speed.

I normally use the Raid helmet on so I can use my Don't Touch Me gloves when I run Bladedancer

yeah, after the abyss though I think you are ok to switch. And you can always switch back to your Don't Touch Me gloves once you are on the other side if you feel like you need the invis over there. Good luck on your next attempt!
