My character has the best lore

Kabr smashed a gorgon into the relic. Kabr lost all his friends to time and doesn't even know they ever existed. Kabr fashioned armor out of the vex themselves. I like kabr.

Actually, TLW's quote is a misprint. It should actually read "Jaren Ward to Magistrate Loken" The excerpt from the Grimoire card read something like this: Loken: "...This is my town" Jaren, under his breath: "Not anymore" Loken: "Those are going to be your last words?" Jaren, as he draws TLW and kills Loken: "Yours... Not mine"

Little lore... ON DREDGEN YOR As the two men faced each other, their hands rested on their hand cannons, one spoke unto the other. "What happened to you, Jaren?" said Shin Malphur. "Do not call me that name. I'm not the rose-wielding man I used to be..." Said Dredgen. "And what did you gain from the petal falling off your rose, Jaren?" Dredgen shook his head. "Though my rose was the most beautiful in all the land... but it spoke to me, promising of great powers that no mortal could ever understand. I took that power, and I witnessed the petals fall off my rose, leaving nothing but a thorn." He let out a long, raspy sigh. "However, with this power I brought sorrow to all those in my path. All but you, Shin. What is making you keep me from this town?" Shin stared intensely into his former friend's eyes. "Do you not remember? This town known as Palamon? You visited here years ago. You were the greatest thing I had ever seen, a beacon of hope. You gave me this gun, and I took it carefully into my hands and you had left, seeking out your rose." Shin held out the gun in his hand, his Last Word, and Dredgen hung his head, not wanting to see his former jewel. "I remember, you were but a boy. Although I gave you that cannon, I went to find my rose, and once I did, it began speaking to me. I tried to ignore it's promises, but I gave in." Shin Malphur glared at Dredgen. He walked to him and thrusted it into the former Guardian's hands. "Yours... not mine." he said, looking at his former father. Dredgen shook his head, and began to cry. Tears splattered down to the golden hand cannon, as he put it back into the Renegade Hunter's hands, and closed his fingers around the gun. "If you will not get out of my way, I will have to kill you. I just don't want you to not have the same chance to do the same to me." Said Dredgen, his tears dissolving into shadowy tendrils as they hit the dry, cracked ground of Dwindler's Ridge. Shin Malphur nodded. They stood back to back. Shin facing his home of Palamon, Dredgen facing the empty path of sorrow he weaved heading to the small town. They began walking, counting down from ten. Once they hit one, they both turned, and fired. Shin unleashed a flurry of bullets, flying towards Dredgen, while he shot only one. A thorn made of the blackest metal, melting every bullet in it's path. As the bullets peppered Dredgen, Shin was struck straight to the heart, the thorn piercing through flesh and bone. Both men stood their for a moment, before Dredgen fell to his knees. "Thank you..." he whispered as his head hit the ground. Not long after, Shin clutched his heart. A faint green glow pulsated from his wound. He stumbled forward to the corpse of his former friend, and fell over, their bodies side by side. "Yours... not... mine..." He said, and he was silent. That was his last word. After a few minutes, a shadowy figure emerges from the dusty wind, his tendrilled face examining the scene. He loomed over the two corpses and reached for the shadowy Thorn, but as he touched it, his arm shot back, and he held his now-burning fingertips. He faced the corpse of Shin Malphur and examined his gun. He picked it up and stowed it away into his long black cloak. "My will is not my own..." He said as he walked away, his cloak whipping with the sandstorm, dust and sand now covering the two recently fallen Guardians.
