What most of us have suspected for many months has been accidentally revealed by a Bungie executive: PvP is so boring that almost no one participates in it. It's WAY less popular than grinding out bounties, or running the same strike over and over. Actually read the link before you run your mouth.
*Edit: I'm just the messenger. 'Don't shoot the messenger.'
For those of you who are scoring at home there are two VERY SEPARATE parts of Destiny.
1) Story. 2) PvP.
The Story (PvE) dominates Guardian time at an overwhelming
85%.
PvP is a paltry 15%.

Edited by King Hutch IV: 3/7/2015 1:52:04 AMLike many of the comments I'm reading, I also find these numbers to be misleading/manipulative. I actually found it curious when I looked at my own stats and saw that my control matches were not even close to my pve time. Yet PvP is the only reason I still play this game. Its my favourite part of the game. Quality over quantity, my good man. Edit: I read the article after the fact. Bleck. Garbage. There is practically nothing credible in it other than "bungle released a pie chart of time played distribution". The game modes are divided appropriately and distributed quite well at that. Bungie's position confuses the author on the matter because he is overthinking and interpreting information he doesn't have a full understanding of. Destiny appeals to millions of different gamers. Some who dont like any PvP at all. Its a very biased, objective article and should hold no weight to anyone.
