Startled, Eris dropped the rune, causing it to shatter. She shook her head trying to look undisturbed as a frame started to approach the shattered orb with a broom. She looked away, at the sky, "Was that you?" she thought in amazement, it was faint, but she had definetely heard three distinct words; I AM ALIVE. [b][u][i]Episode One: Reawakening[/i][/u][/b] A searing pain flashed through his mind as the warlock was brought back from the grave, "so this is what it's like for a sunsinger to come back from the dead" the voidwalker thought, grimacing, "definetely painful when someone else is doing it to you" he blinked, trying to let light enter his eyes, he couldn't see yet, but he could definetely hear voices, drowned out by what he thought was a defender titans ward of dawn, yet he distinctively remembered the voices from somewhere. "Are you mad!?" Zavala roared his fury directed at the speaker, "you're really bringing him back to life?" he ranted furiously."Yes" the speaker spoke softly, "we need his expertise-" ikora cut him off, "you mean for breaking and entering?" she said with a hardened face. "What did he do?" asked Cayde, confused about the figure lying at the bottom of Zavala's ward of dawn, which he had hastily placed as soon as he saw the figure. Ikora shook her head, impatient with the new head of the hunter vanguard, "that man, Cayde, broke into the Hive catacombs whenever he could, learned their language, learned their secrets, and stared into the darkness" she turned to the speaker, "and you want to let him free?!" the speaker nodded, "Is this mission really that important?" Zavala asked "Yes, it is" the speaker said, irritated, "we have no options but to use these three" he said firmly. "but-" "This is happening Zavala, WITH or WITHOUT the vanguard!" Zavala stared, in his entire career, he had never seen the speaker lose his temper. "now if you would please remove your ward, let us begin" the speaker spoke softly, Zavala, humbled, nodded and released the ward of dawn. The speaker knelt next to the figure who was just beginning to regain conciousness, "welcome back old friend, welcome back, Toland" To be continued.
