Guardians no longer drop heavy ammunition when killed in PvP
Why?
This was added in the 1.1.1 update. I don't understand why it was needed.

Just take the damn heavy Ammo out already

Because it was a mechanic rooted in good, competitive FPS multiplayer gameplay, which means it has no business being in the Crucible. Very dumb change if you ask me.

2 RepliesIt was done because people were able to have heavy ammo for most of the match. By waiting to pick it up you could maximize your ammo or if you think you will die you could wait till you revive. Personally I think they should have just reduced the amount dropped.
