When I was getting my third character up to level 20, I decided I could run the summoning pits at one level lower then the mission. Unfortunately the team ended up being one guy at the level, me at one less and someone else at two less. Grr. Didn't help that he was proper awful as well. Well we made it to phogoth not too badly, but then the struggle got real. On our third or fourth attempt (after some lengthy almost-wins) we had him down to 1% health. Then both me and the higher level chap died. No voice chat back then but I was almost screaming at the TV for the low level guy to survive. That was all he had to do. I only had 10 seconds left until revive was able. As I reach 2 seconds left, he dies. Of course, I know we are OK as I will get up before the 3 second count down. The other person doesn't know this and finally rage quits, before the countdown expired. Just as the screen is going black I mash square and leap up and finish off phogoth (barely). Felt really bad for the guy who left as he had done so much of the work. When we finished I had around 50 kills, and the low leveled player had 3. Ugh. Bloke who left must have had 150 at least. Oh well.
