All hand cannons are revolvers....
Just imagine if there was such diversity as to have a Desert Eagle styled HC or even a high RoF pistol with lower impact? Imagine the possibilities of auto-pistols. Thoughts anyone?

Edit 3. Some very great points here guys. I was honestly bored when I made this post. I think the game definitely suffers from Simple variety and re-skins.
Edit 4. The feedback on this has been awesome. Consider this though in regards to modern pistols being featured in the game. This is a futuristic shooter where jungles have grown on Venus and Mars has cities. Anything is possible!

I'd like to see compact semi-auto pistols as secondary weapons. Something quick and reliable you can pull out in a pinch.

It's probably because the 44. magnum (a revolver) is also called a hand cannon. Some other revolvers are too but the 44 is the true cannon. And from what it seems like, all the hand cannons resemble a 44 or kick as strong as one does so that's probably why. And if you don't understand my weapon talk than I basically said: Hand cannon is other word for revolver

17 RepliesThe thing I don't understand about hand cannons is how some have such a large mag. If a revolver was ever to actually have twelve shots, at max they would be .22 caliber rounds, or it would end up looking like a tommy gun. This has baffled me since the beginning.

1 Replyi feel that they just simply need to have more weapon models period there is like 2 bases for each primary and special. even the exotics have recycled models red death, badjuju and even suros shares the same base model with a diff skin you can tell in the shape of the damn thing. weaksauce on lame taters.

2 RepliesEverybody hates low impact Auto-Rifles, I'm gonna say that low impact semi-auto pistols would be just as bad. It'd take an entire mag to take down somethings shield, much less kill it. It would be cool, but it wouldn't fit in very well at all. Maybe Grenade Launchers, HMG's, or something along those lines would suffice.
