My clan does atheon every week, we usually do it with 4 or 5 players. We down him after the first teleport every time. Thank you gjallahorn.

I hate to ask such an absurdly stupid question.. but how is this done? everytime i've done VOG you get someone screaming when you pull out a rocket launcher to shoot at atheon.

Probably because we all know each other and understand what we are doing? I'm not sure, just simple teamwork I guess.

I guess I don't know what you mean. How else is it done? We have 3 people in the portal, 1 or 2 outside depending on the # of players we have. Relic holder comes out when there are 2 or 3 oracles left inside, runs to the middle and puts up the shield. Everyone unloads all 7 of their gjallahorn, pops a heavy synth, fire some more, and atheon is dead.

thought firing rockets inside the shield would kill you due to blast?

No clue how you have enough time to fire all 7 rockets and wait for the menu to load and PPP a heavy synth...lakes a solid 15 seconds for mine to load. Kinda gonna call bullshit

And your connection must be awful if it takes you 15 seconds to pop a heavy. Takes 2 maybe 3 total to pop a heavy and start shooting.

Not to pop heavy. Just for the pause menu to pop up, and it's not my connection. EVERYONE I have ever played with has had this issue. Takes forever for the pause menu to load

I have never had a loading issue with my menu, takes me 2 to 3 seconds for the whole process. Next time I do it, I'll take a video.

If you don't have the issue that's great. Means it's only something that 360 has to deal with.

Haha sorry, it's not bull. 30seconds is plenty of time. Max the reload speed with perk as well.

Don't need a ghorn- weapons of light and a maxed blackhammer does the trick! 20k crit shots (and as long as you don miss) unlimited ammo!
