Bad NF rewards lead to better raid drops?
I swear every week that I have bad nightfall drops I always make out pretty well when completing the raids. Or vice versa. Anyone else seem to have the same thing happen to them?
Edit: Looks like RNGesus blesses the blessed and dumps on the poor. Seems some players have had the same luck as myself!

This seems pretty true for me, I've got 9 or 10 exotics in a row in nightfall, but no matter how many times I do atheon the vex still evades me.

2 RepliesI wish. I had a bad week for all my activities and still have to beat crota (just the boss) with one of my characters, but shards and energies for my VoG and other CE coupled with a bunch of nonsense for nightfall. my bad luck streak continues, unfortunately. 4 weeks and counting.

It's just random I got suros and no backup plans from nightfalls. 2 hardlights from the gorgon chest A vex from atheon NLB from deathsinger Mida from an engram That's in 3 days I had 2 exotic drops total between launch and Xmas.

No got gally in nightfall this week and then normal Crota got thunderlord and then in hard volt got vex so was a good week for me. Still got another guy to do it all on

3 RepliesMy drops are always bad. I have been playing since first week of October and have got 9 exotics TOTAL from nightfalls(4 of them I already had). Raids? Crota&vog combined I've got 4. 2 of which I already had. The last time xur had the sunbreakers and plan c I bought them(didn't have breakers and didn't feel like upgrading old plan c). The following Mondays nightfall rewards? Engram(2 energy),plan c and sunbreakers. My luck is so bad one week I bought 4 exotic helmet engrams and I swear on my children that all 4 turned into dire ahamkara skull. Stuff like this makes me not want to play this game sometimes.

correlation does not mean causation. I've had strings of weeks where I get shards in VoG, CE, and the nightfall. And I've had weeks where I get an exotic from all 3
