Why do people buy XBOne when PS4 is a available?
Just asking .
If there's two systems side by side for roughly the same price . Why would you not buy the more superior of the two ?
That's like having a Ferrari and an Audi side by side for the same price. And buying the Audi .... Yes it's a decent car...... But it's just not quite a Ferrari is it .

Reasons you think the PS4 is superior? In case you are unaware, the PS4 has a slightly better GPU with more shaders, etc. Both systems have the same Jaguar CPU/GPU combo. On paper, the PS4 may seem better to people that do not understand what they are looking at. In reality, the actual output is so miniscule that it actually comes down to the efficiency of the operating system and individual game engine optimization. At this point, the choice of console should be based off of controller preference, exclusives, and features.

Why would you buy a ps4? Its only good exclusive is the inability to play online.

Just let them be. The system don't matter. What matters are the games. And that's why I own a ps4 and a wii u. Love the games on both. End of story.

5 RepliesI own both consoles, but I prefer Xbone. Here's why: - Specs on the PS4 and Xbone are practically the same. The PS4 does have a [u][i][b]SLIGHTLY[/b][/i][/u] more turned up GPU. However, now with ths edition of Direct x12 to Xbone, the difference is practically none. - I like Xbone's controller better. - Xbone doesn't make me spend $40 for an actual headset. - Playstation has been falling flat on it's face with exclusives lately. Xbone at least has some decent ones out there that work. - My friends are on Xbone.

I prefer the Xbox one controller, I prefer XBL over PSN, I prefer the exclusive games (even if some come later for PC), and I prefer the first party exclusives as well.

First of all the Audi vs. Ferrari analogy implies that the PS4 is vastly superior to the Xbox One. The analogy would work a lot better with the Wii U vs. super high-end PC, but it doesn't hold up because of the $1000 difference between the two. Second, the Xbox One and PS4 both have a good line up of exclusives and multiplats, making it a pretty even choice. This means your analogy should be a Ferrari vs. a Lamborghini. They're both way better than the other things on the streets (360, PS3, Wii). Third, having a PC + (insert console of choice here) usually covers a large amount of games on the market. And finally, your bait is old, so people aren't getting mad.

Halo was a big reason, so when I found out pretty well ever other games (including Kingdom Hearts and FFXV) are coming out on Xbox or something else I have, there was really no reason to get it. I'll get one eventually for games like Uncharted but maybe not even then. I'm not the kind of person who buys a console for one game.
