According to them it seems it's impossible to implement a system that when all players press a "skip" button the scene is skipped. I still don't know how different this would be from the "ready" status we have on other mp games to start a match. But my guess it ain't, they just need to say it is because at this point it's not something viable for them to implement since it's probably part of the game's core. A core that from their standard answer "it's too complex for you to understand" I guess is just a utter mess.

Agreed. Don't hold your breath tho. On the plus side - there's barely any cutscenes in the game! If Bungie do ever give us a story - an option to skip would be welcome.
