As much as I would love having split screen on this game, I don't see at all how it would work. To the current game, it's doing something [i]completely[/i] different to the game. It'd probably have to wait until the next game before this gets implemented, if at all.

I don't see how it does anything completely different. In borderlands, which is similar, you could run in total opposite directions with split screen. You still had your own adventure while playing with someone else. I don't see how it would change much other than let your buddy play with you while he is over.
