Hunger of Crota same thing as Gjallohorn?
(Sorry if I miss spelled Gjallohorn) Hunger of crota and Gjallohorn basically have the same perks. The only difference is that one takes up an exotic slot. Anyone agree?

Not even close. (Not that Hunger of Crota is bad... Just not Gjallarhorn, and rightfully so if I have to use an exotic slot for it.)

Except that Gjallarhorn does as much damage with one rocket as two do from the hunger of crota.

not exactly the clusters don't all hit and g-horn has proximity detonation other than that a very sound RL

It can be if use properly when shooting at crota for example if you aim at it balls (lol) or leg the clumster wont split as much dealing really good damage and can put crota on its knees whith 2 rockets as well BUT make sure you fire both rockets as fast as you can one after the othet :)

no, the wolfpack tracking makes all the difference. The only thing I don't like about gallihorn is the proximity and hitbox of the damn thing, if anything is near you when you fire that thing you are likely dead.

Gjallarhorn has tracking cluster bombs. Hungers cluster bombs don't even really hit the target, they just hit anyone around the target. If there is a single target then the cluster bombs don't really do any extra damage. Also I think Gjallarhorn has a higher per hit damage.

4 RepliesNo... They don't basically have the same perks, they both have tracking that is all. Hunger, has cluster bomb which essentially acts the same as mirv-mini (hezen vengeance) and is small explosions in the blast radius. Gjallarhorn and only Gjallarhorn has wolfpack rounds, It is the exotic perk which is like the hunter swarm grenade (just much stronger) and tracks dealing damage directly to the target. The wolfpack rounds deal an equivalent amount of damage as the first initial blast from the rocket.
