We have the classic warrior (titan) thief (hunter) and mage (warlock). The 3 basic types have been filled with the current classes. In theory. Sort of. Kinda. Perhaps. On paper. Maybe. I want to see something more story driven like: [b][u]Avenger[/u][/b] (class item: trophy worn dangling from the belt) [i]Most Guardians are reborn in Light, Avengers are from the other end of the spectrum. Most say that the best way to fight Darkness is with Light; Avengers instead fight Darkness with a different kind of Darkness.[/i] -----[b]Sin Eater[/b] (void) [i]Feared by all, and rightfully so, Sin Eaters consume the Darkness and use it to empower their own attacks. Most fear the Darkness; Sin Eaters see it as prey.[/i] -----[b]Inquisitor[/b] (solar) [i]Flames too cast light, but there is little Light to be found in the Inquisitor's wake. Illuminated by their own self righteousness the Inquisitor engulfs the world in flames. Purity after all, is only found among the ashes. [/i] -----[b]Hangman[/b] (Arc) [i]"Someone has to take out the trash" is a favorite saying among Hangmen. Specialists at manipulating energy, eliminating the Darkness is just another job, one the Hangman happens to excel at. [/i] [u] [b]Outlaw[/b][/u] (exotic item: scarf) [i]Not all brought back as Guardians choose to blindly follow the Speaker's will. Those few who see the City as a prison, not salvation, are labeled as Outlaw. Not exactly welcome in the city, these Outlaws use... somewhat archaic methods of dissolving the Darkness. [/i] -----[b]Privateer[/b] (void) [i]Making a living hunting those whom serve Darkness outside of a gravity well, Privateers are still deadly foes within one. Armed with a boarding axe and their firearm of choice, do not stand between a Privateer and his chosen bounty.[/i] -----[b]Guerrilla[/b] (solar) [i]Home among the wilds these solitary souls are hit and run artists. No slouch when it comes to survival, fear the Guerrilla most when he stands in plain sight; for he already has everything he wants from you.[/i] -----[b]Chunin[/b] (arc) [i]Nobody can say if these Outlaws have ever stepped foot in the City for their (unofficial) motto is "Stealth is Life". Masters of assassination Chunin prefer to remove the enemy's head and let the body wither away. Why fight lots of large battles when you can get the same results with a single small one? [/i] [u][b]Recombinant[/b][/u] (exotic item: mask worn sidewise on the head) [i]The Light changes all whom it touches; for most this change is purely internal. Some few Guardians however, are changed externally as well. The only thing which all Recombinant have in common is the fear in which they are held, by their enemies and their allies alike.[/i] --- [b]Phantasm[/b] (void) [i]To look upon a Phantasm is to gaze upon pure horror; perhaps that is why they are so skilled at illusion. Nightmares given flesh those who call themselves Phantasm are rumored to be more Darkness then not. And we thought the Cabal was scary. [/i] ----- [b]Yokai[/b] (solar) [I] When a Yokai walks down the street "monster" is the most kind thing which is whispered in their wake. It is unknown if the Yokai will ever chose to serve the darkness, what is even more unknown is if the City will rejoice should they do. [/i] ----- [b]Elemental[/b] (arc) [i]Seemingly more energy then matter, Elementals are a mystery that few are keen to solve. In the dark days following the Collapse some Elementals were volunteered into serving as an emergency power supply for the City. Rumor says the descendants of those Elementals are still there. [/i]

Cryptarch. Grenade spawns a random engram Super RNG's you a gun and you fight with it for the next 30 seconds

The only thing missing is a support class i.e healing, setting up shields, slow recovery of health, laying down a "Light barricade" etc something like that or a dedicated Summoner. It's centuries in the future and no one can build a automated turret? C'mon now

Solar tree [b]Longbow[/b] [b]grenade[/b] - fires an arrow that deals massive single target damage (easily aimed 1hit precision kill with good range but, requires a short charge up) [b]Javelin[/b] [b]grenade[/b] - Excellent accuracy and splash damage. Easy get long distance hits. (Lower damage) [b]Slingshot[/b] [b]grenade[/b] - fires forward then back dealing damage to all foes in its path. (Upgrades can cause ricochet) Super ability [b]Cone[/b] [b]of[/b] [b]light[/b] - A cone of energy is emitted from your hand, that expands into a 3' diameter lazer beem.
