THIS IS A NEW REWARD SYSTEM!
By ALL MEANS keep the random but there needs to be a reward system that is strictly based on SKILL!!!
Bungie!!!! Destiny is a good game and has potential to become great but you need to address this problem as soon as possible!
The complete random drop of exotics has to go! Since the only way to prove you put in a lot of time and effort into destiny is by having a high Grimmer score, make that a way to get the exotics you always desired!
For example: When you reach a grimmer score of 2500, you get a choice to pick 1 of 5 rare random exotics weapons or armor. Don't list any exotics you can get from bounties! Make sure its RARE exotics! I know you could get this done!
Edit: Im losing interest in the game because i haven't got a fun new exotic in a while! For me, getting Red Death or Monte Carlo would help me to keep playing the game
EDIT 2: however they want to do it there should be a reward system for grimmer

Edit 4: idk how you can like a complete random exotic drop. And i don't want Xur to sell the rare exotics because then Noobs will have them. and no one like noobs
Edit 5: my favorite weapons are my iron banner weapons because I earned them by kicking butt in crucible! the shotgun and sniper are my favorite! I like them because when i see people with them i know they earned it!

I think the idea is NOT that bad but maybe instead of this xur could sale an exotic bounty once a month for 50 coins (or some rather high number) that would be rigorous and take a great deal of time to complete (maybe 12-20 hours of game time depending on skill level), at the end of which you could choose exactly one exotic. (Only the people who are more committed could even buy the bounty let alone have the endurance to finish it)
