My second VoG run. It was mid-November so I was playing with an experienced group who were friends and I was their random from Recruitment. I told them it was my second time but I had good gear and said to tell me what to do and I'd do it. We get to the Oracles and wipe to re-spawn up top. The raid leader assigns positions and says nothing to me.
"What do you want me to do?"
"You know the Spirit Bloom chest room?"
"Yes"
"Jump down and go wait in there."
So I did. A couple if minutes later, exhausted from dancing, I asked if I could come out and just run around killing stuff.
I did alright though and the raid leader invited me as a level 29 to do VoG on hard with them a couple of days later but I was in the bathroom and by the time I got back they had six. I never did do HM VoG:(. Yet, hopefully.

how is that a good memory? what a dick move. I would have left them asap. I've beaten VoG hard as a 29 and with 29's plenty of times back in the day.

The question in the thread title was what do you look back on and LOL. I thought it was funny. It was actually good group. I was the noob so the raid leader told me to take the left sync plate at the start and he came with me. After a couple of minutes he was telling everyone that I was "on point" and they didn't have to worry about the random they had picked up. When we got to the confluxes he came left with me again and it was the same story so he left me there alone to go help in the middle and told me to ask for help if I needed it. I guess I find it funny because after getting complimented for the whole raid up to that point I was told to go wait in a hole in a wall. To be honest, it was only my second raid after two months of playing so I wasn't going anywhere. That and cheesing the Oracles from above isn't all that much more exciting than dancing in the hole. Doing it legit is MUCH better.
