Well there's 20 exotic weapons and 24 vault spaces... Not to mention 9 from each raid, plus other useful legendaries with good perk rolls. As well as 9 IB weapons.

I feel I don't need to point out .. that you don't have to keep them all

Its nice to have variety for different parts of the game.

You never know which ones will be useful in the next raid. Red death was a joke to me until hard Crota.
