Good comments. Not sure I agree with all of it, but I agree it could use some deeper digging on Bungie's part.
I'm an ex Suros user.
I'm a current Thorn / Hawkmoon user.
I'm playing around with Red Death.
Thorn / Hawkmoon feel no different to me in PvP.
Red Death is GREAT now. Still has a slightly slower TTK than Thorn/Hawkmoon, but the heal and reload makes it worth it on some maps and gametypes I'm finding.
I'm scared to even try Suros out now :)

Just kidding. I'm the same. Someone uses an OP gun like Thorn, I find myself switching to it.
