I just got to the crucible section on the thorn bounty and am having trouble... I was just wondering if there are any play lists I should use or specific weapons. Thanks!
BTW my current load out for it is equipped
EDIT: Thanks everyone for the suggestions I will start tonight

1 ReplyI prefer rumble, just because you can kill everybody you see instead of having teammates.

1 ReplyEdited by Quadlog: 3/3/2015 9:27:21 PMI'm mediocre at best with a 1.07 kd. I just finished this bounty and used praedyths revenge and corrective measure. Took about 10 matches total and I had not void primary. I did do it on my warlock so nova bomb helped but id say most of my points came from heavy machine gun. Camp that heavy and go somewhere safe and wait until everyone unloads rockets. Then carefully mow down everyone that comes to you. Just wait for a popular choke point. Be defensive and if you only get 10-15 kills a match and just 3-4 deaths you will do fine. Edit - I recommends heavy machine gun over rockets because you can kills more people with a purple heavy. I could usually get 5 or more before death.

Void fusion
-
Atheon´s epilogue... special and heavy void
-
Void Shotgun did it for me along with a void LMG, i did it all in Clash was easy in the end

4 RepliesI did it in one day and for the crucible part I went into control and ran around with swordbreaker. Just try not to die and I also switched between Praedyth's Revenge. Then I also used Truth as my heavy

3 Replieshaha you 100% have the Void damage covered. I would recommend Control, and you can see when points are getting capped, and most people tend to keep to the same path between points, so you can predict peoples routes.
-
4 RepliesSwitch to your void walker. Void grenades and nova bomb count. Use your super on groups instead of singles. Also, if you have obsidian mind helmet you build your super faster.
-
1 ReplyI managed it in one day with just a void sniper and rocket launcher. It took a while. Not gonna lie. But I got it done so I'm sure you can too! Good luck.

1 ReplyEdited by Murcee: 3/3/2015 1:28:08 PMIf you're not a big PvP player, I wouldn't bother with it. In my opinion, most exotic primaries are only useful in PvP, and severely out-classes by legendaries in PvE. If you're doing it for collection/Grimoire purposes, just stick to it and play with friends. If you must play alone, I recommend waiting for Salvage to come back. Getting the bounty on your Titan or Warlock helps exponentially because of their void sub-classes. I have successfully completed it three times; four if you count helping a friend. Twice solo. First bounty set-up(3 days): Gunslinger Atheon's Epilogue Praedyth's Revenge Deviant Gravity-A Second bounty set-up(6 hours): Voidwalker Word of Crota Praedyth's Revenge/Plug One.1 Truth Third bounty set-up(12 hours): Gunslinger Word of Crota Praedyth's Revenge/The Calming Corrective Measure Find what works best for you, stick to it, then go kill Xyor. Edit: Pertaining to your current set-up, I would knock out a few Vanguard/Eris Morn bounties to get the stability upgrade(s) on your Epilogue before you go into Crucible.

use a blue sidewinder mk 23 it rekts

1 ReplyVoid shot gun or fusion rifle thats.all you need evean of its a blue or a green
-
1 ReplyVoid fusion rifle, shotgun, heavy machine gun. Go into free for all and rip it up. NOT control.
-
1 ReplyI just killed Xyor tonight. To complete the Crucible portion, green void heavy with a Focus Fire, blue void shotty (till I rolled a void Felwinter's Lie). Just play conservatively. Control, very defensively, aka camp like a boss. It took me quite a while.
-
2 RepliesPraydeths revenge, atheons epilogue, void heavy and a void subclass
-
Any void fusion / shotgun / sniper (depending on what you preder to use) with a void rocket or HMG. These can even be freen weapons if you have none!
-
3 RepliesEdited by Kittens: 3/3/2015 3:24:20 AMIf you are good with a machine gun they can bet you more kills Also warlocks got it easy cause your grenades and nova bomb count (void walker )
-
1 ReplyPlay control as a voidwalker. Aggressively target anyone who tries to capture a zone. Eventually, your kill points will outweigh the death points, no matter your skill level. (Took me 10 matches)

1 ReplyEdited by Achro: 3/3/2015 3:34:15 AMControl + Voidwalker/Defender + Void Fusion Rifle & Heavy + Playing Conservatively = Thorn goodness. Good hunting Guardian.
